Maternal and Child Health
The Rotary Club of Hyderabad Pride in association with Family planning association India (FPA India) organized 2 health check ups.
The first health check up was done on 22nd July at Jinnaram Mandal, Medak District, TS. The HPLC test was administered on 24 expecting mothers as part of screening for detecting thalassemia and sickle cell anemia disorder.
Second health check up HPLC test on 17 expecting women was done on 27/07/2023 at BS Maktha, Hyderabad. Due to rains this project was delayed and there was less turn out.
In toto we successfully did HPLC test on 41 women and concurrently distributed Calcium syrups and multivitamin syrups and bananas to the mothers for which club has spent Rs. 19,976 (In Words: Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred and Seventy Six)
