Bicycles Distribution to needy girl students
150 bi-cycles were donated to government school girl students in order to encourage them to attend school more actively and ease their transportation to schools. This was an act of empowerment to the girls to encourage them to expand their horizons. The project was entirely self-funded by the Rotary club of Gajwel. Mr. Ravi Vadlamani and Mr. Uday Pilani were invited as Chief Guests while the Assistant Commissioner of Police of Gajwel Mr. Balaji attended as the guest of honor for the Program. A flag hoisting was conducted on the morning of the program followed by a rally with the 150 cycles. Post which lunch for 500 members was arranged for the beneficiaries and other people who attended along.
