Distribution of clothes to old Women
Today i.e on 13th February 24 at 06-30 pm at the local Effort Office, the freedom fighter Sarojininadu Jayanti celebrated the ceremony on behalf of the Rotary Club of Martur. Two poor women from the local copper colony were given new clothes. In this process, Rotary Presidents Talulluri Sambasivarao said that Sarojini Naidu was involved in the movement for an independent Bharatavani and was known as the Nightingale of India as she was also a poet. The function was attended by Secretary Maddumala Koteshwara Rao Jashti Mohanrao and Jashti Sambasivarao and Ravi Ankamma Chaudhary and Motupalli Ankayya Garu Madala Sambasivarao.
