Rotary Club of Mangalagiri Wraps Up Spectacular Rangoli Competition, Illuminating Sankranti Celebrations: On the occasion of auspicious Makara Sankranti festival, the Rotary Club of Mangalagiri has conducted Mughula Poti (Rangoli Competition) this year also on 13th January 2024 in the name of "Rotary Rangula Rangavallika" at Mangalagiri Titko Houses premises. It was reflected the Village Sankranti Shobha by promoting our culture and tradition. The people of Mangalagiri town and surrounding villages participated in this event. The Rangoli competition turned the venue into a mesmerizing canvas of colors and patterns as participants showcased their talent and imagination through various Rangoli designs. The Rangoli competition was held in the presence of many guests, 12 panel judges and Rotarians. Total 81 women enthusiastically participated in this competition, which was held as a big festival celebration to the area by competing with true spirit and joy. On this occasion, the guests said that Rotary Club of Mangalagiri has been recognized as a unique club in DISTRICT 3150. Remembering the past distinguished service programs, they wished to continue more good service programs in the future as well. This event exemplifies the Rotary Clubs commitment to community service, cultural heritage enrichment, make a positive impact and strengthen the bonding on our community and the promotion of artistic endeavours and unity. The prizes for this Rangoli competition were sponsored by Jyothi Electronics, Mantra Shopping Mall, Udata Srinivasa Rao, Vinayaka Home Appliances. A panel of esteemed judges evaluated the Rangolis based on creativity, originality, use of colors, and adherence to the Sankranti theme. The women who participated in the competition won valuable first, second and third prizes along with 9 consolation prizes and a total of 12. Rotary Club Organizers have also given a special prize to each contestant who participated in the competition. Honble MLC, Murugudu Hanumantha Rao Garu was the chief guest for this "Rotary Rangula Rangavallika" program, which was chaired by Rtn. Dhanalakshmi Garu; Vijayakeerthi Bayyavarapu IRSE, Sr DSO, SC Railway as the special guest; Dist. Chair-RI convention promotion, Patibandla Shivaranjani as guest of honour. This Rangoli competition program was inaugurated by the Rotary Club of Mangalagiri President Rtn. Ande Revanth, Secretary Rtn. Gajula Srinivasa Rao, Treasurer Rtn. Nutalapati Venkateswara Rao, Club Trainer Rtn. Anil Chakraborty, Service Director Rtn. Ande Murali Mohan, Club Administration Director Sundarayya, Public Image Director Battu Venkateswara Rao, Sergeant at Arms Jonnadula Biksha Rao and the Rotarians and women in the large number attended the program and made it grand success and most memorable.
