Chess tournament
On the occasion of national chess day we conducted chess tournament on 20th July 23. 40 chess players participated . Deepak Santhamaguluru won the first prize Rs 3116, Subbarayadu SL Gudipadu won the second prize Rs 2116 and Emmanuel Marturu won the third prize Rs1116 in the six-round fight. In under 15 category 1st Prize Jaswant, Kolalapudi High School, second prize Rahul Kumar Chaitanya School Martooru, third prize Sriram Charan Teja KolalapudiHighSchool ,Consolation Prize Ch. Soumya Valaparla High School won. The arbitrators for this tournament are Udaya Bhaskar, a retired teacher , G.Ramakoteswara Rao
is a high school teacher in Kolalapudi and Rtn K. Ravi Babu Valaparla teacher was organized together. Udaya Bhaskar and Rama Koteswara Rao Garlu said that the contribution of Rotary Club of Martur for organizing this game with full catering facilities without any entry fee is unforgettable.
