Engineers day celebration, Support Rs 27,000 to Engineering Student

On the occasion of World Democracy Day and the birth anniversary of eminent engineer Sri Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya, a grand tribute was paid to him at Maddi Satyanarayana ZP High School , Martur. In this program Rotary President Sambasiva Rao said that Visvesvaraya was born in poverty and grew up as a civil engineer and served India with meritorious deeds and received the highest Bharat Ratna award. On the occasion of the day we handed over Rs 27000 to B.tech student who was trouble with poverty. Granite Owners Welfare Association contributed Rs.10000/- and the remaining Rs.17000/- was given by Rotary Club of Marturu. .
Rotary Presidents Talluri Sambasivarao, Secretary Maddumala Koteswara Rao, Treasurer Cherukuri Nageswara Rao, Assistant Governor Inturi Anjaneyulu and 12 rotarians participated.
